FOR YOUR INFORMATION…..We have been asked how the points system works for
colours and veterans...
Points can only be won at a Great Dane club show.
There are 9 clubs plus DANE OF THE YEAR.
Points are awarded for being placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in COLOUR classes only (at open,
limited and championship shows) as follows:-
1st = 3pts
2nd = 2pts
3rd = 1 point.
The points accrual run from January to December
The same system is applicable to veterans, winning from veteran classes only.
The Midland and West of England Great Dane club present a memento to the annual
overall winner of each colour and veteran.
This year, we have introduced an extra award for the exhibit winning the most points.
The memento is only awarded to paid up members of our club.
Please consider entering the colour classes, when entering a breed club show.
