Judge-
Great Danes.
I am very proud to be associated with this breed.
Thank you to the committee for this invitation and a heavy heartfelt thank you for looking after me with the tragedy that happened.
I didn’t have the pleasure of judging SALMALDA MY WILD FLAME, whoever looks over us felt she was needed elsewhere. My thoughts go out to Adam & Lesley Chappell. It didn't feel right to resume judging but I understand we needed to continue.

1st Cubitt, ZEFATHERS WRECK IT RALPH FOR ZEBELDANE. This 10mth old brindle boy oozes quality and promise. Nothing not to like, he’s grown his legs first and his body will absolutely get there. Correct elegant outline and lovely bone. Masculine head of correct proportions, dark eye, correct bite, reach and arch of neck into correct laidback shoulders, held his topline on the move, correct rear angulation. Moved well and he was my BPD.

1st Baker, KINNEGANS BODYGUARD FOR PREVELI. Fawn 1year old well put together youngster. Very showy and gave his handler a fun time on the move and when settled moved well. In lovely condition created a balanced picture. Correct head and bite, darkest of eyes which was well fitted in his dark mask, showed his well arched neck, straight bone and correct rear.
2nd White, KINNEGANS LAST KINGDOM AT TARADANES. This 1year old fawn is litter brother to 1 but with a very different look. Larger correct head, nice spring of rib, correct front and rear though a little steep in croup.

1st Wright & Cranfield, ZEFATHERS TWO FACES WITH IRIEUSDANE JW. A pleasing over picture this 18mth old fawn had a lot to like, very correct throughout. Beautiful length of skull and foreface, dark eyes, lovely reach of neck into correct shoulders, his chest meets his elbows and a filled chest when viewed from the front. Held his topline as he moved and his correct rear let him move with drive. Well handled.
2nd Nunn, Patch & Nunn, ROSHANUN CONQUISTADOR. A 18mth old harlequin had a lot to like but unfortunately he gave his handlers a hard time. Well off for bone, his chest will come with maturity. Masculine head, correct front and rear, moved well.

1st Tempest, ADOREADANE YELLOWSTONE (AI) JWW LT/FIN JCH. At almost 2years old this mantle is coming into full maturity and this is where I found my DCC. Loved him, plenty of bone and substance in gleaming condition, loved his temperament and attitude full of dash and daring, hard muscle which took him effortlessly round the ring with drive and power. Correct masculine head with dark eyes, would of liked a little more reach of neck, super well laid shoulders, elbows close to his body, straight bone, beautiful chest and rib, correct topline, correct rear with a great second thigh. Handed to perfection.
2nd Simpson, Ch RENESCENT BEWITCHED JW. Black and a few months off of 2years old, very worthy of his title, standard asks for elegant outline and this is what he brings. Showed in beautiful condition and he was my RDCC winner. Correct head planes, darkest of eyes, lovely reach of neck, correct shoulders and rear, moved well with drive.

1st Bliss, STAGBATCH STORM AMY. A beautifully balanced 7mth old harlequin. Correct all round for one so young. Correct feminine head and bite, well arched neck, chest and body is where it should be at her age. Lovely front and rear, moved well and she was my BP.
PB (4/4)
These young ladies are all from the same litter, what a super litter.
1st Wright & Cranfield, ZEFATHERS HOMEWARD BOUND WITH IRIEUSDANE. The bigger out of the class, brindle 9th old striking girl full of quality. This kennel always keeps a beautiful length of skull and foreface. Dark eyes, correct bite, her neck flows into lovely shoulders, chest is at her elbows, straight bone, held her topline on the move, correct rear. Moved well.
2nd Bartley, ZEFATHERS FREAKY FRIDAY. I could almost copy and paste what I have written above, 9th old brindle puppy though not quite the depth of chest as 1 yet, very correct throughout , moved well.
3rd Cranfield, ZEFATHERS SISTER ACT.
JB (5/2)
1st Baker, KINNEGANS BRIDGERTON AT PREVELI. 12mth old fawn that just says “look at me” and I did, she was my RBCC, in beautiful condition and handled to perfection. Feminine and elegant throughout. Dark mask and eyes and a correct head and bite, well arched neck that she used all the time, lovely front and rear. Moved with drive, only maturity holding her back.
2nd Bielecka, ALEGRIAGIANT DARE TO DREAM. This 16mth old black had a pleasing overall picture. Nice head with dark eyes, correct bite, feminine bone, nice rib, moved ok.
3rd Evans & Lloyd-
PGB (3/1)
1st Bielecka, ALEGRIAGIANT CASJOPEYA. 20mth old mantle with a strong head but still feminine and correct, dark eye and correct bite. I liked her bone and balance. Nice laid back shoulders and a deep chest with a spring of rib, loved her second thigh making her rear correct, a little sluggish on the move which was a shame.
2nd Cranfield & Wright, ZEFATHERS GOSSIP GIRL WITH IRIEUSDANE. Gave her handler a run for her money quite literally, used the ring as race track, this aside the typical quality I’d expect from this kennel. 20mth fawn more feminine head with correct planes, super arch of neck into correct shoulders, lovely deep chest, straight bone, elbows close to her body and strong correct rear.
LB (5/2)
1st Pendleton-
2nd Tempest, ADOREADANE MAY WEST (AI) my notes say clean and smart, 3year old harlequin in lovely condition. Correct head, strong arched neck, lovely shoulders, she held her topline on the move with a correct rear, just preferred movement of 1.
OB (2/1)
1st Stanton, Ch GOLDAINAS DIVA PRINCESS. I didn’t need to write any notes on this 3year old fawn because she is etched in my brain. She was my BCC and BOB. Exactly what a female Great Dane should look like. Strong bone, head and body whilst keeping it all feminine. In absolute pristine condition, well muscled and a dream to watch move round the ring. Showed her socks off from start to finish and pleased she got WG4.
