First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the trust and the invitation. This was my first time judging in England, and something I have been looking forward to for several years!

Thank you very much for a superbly well-organised event and for your hospitality before, during, and after the show.

It was especially exciting that the number of entries was on par with Crufts itself! I judged 52 (65) bitches, and I was very pleased with the overall quality of type, temperament, and movement. The highlight of the day was when the Open Bitch class entered the ring. Goldania’s Diva Princess was my clear winner and unquestionably the best dog of the day. It was therefore a great pleasure when the judge of the males, Arne Foss, shared my enthusiasm for this bitch. She became BOB and beat her father, Semalda’s Jealous Guy, who became BOS.
Two dogs full of breed type, both moving well, but the bitch was in a class of her own – she stands and moves like a true Apollo! She also received her third ticket from me and thereby became a Champion, and I very much look forward to following her future career.

BPB 1 entries – 0 absent  1st . Mrs. M Tasker’s Ravendanes Fallen Angel A 5-month-old baby female of excellent type, very well developed and moving well for her age. She has parallel head planes and sound eyes. She will grow into her slightly large ears and would prefer slightly less lip. She has an excellent topline and underline for her age; the croup is slightly sloping. Lovely strong bone with good feet. Beautiful coat and colour. She is still very much a baby and needs to gain a little more confidence in the ring as she matures.

MPB 7 entries – 0 absent     1st. Mr. J Hughill’s Shalarace A Million Dreams A 7-month-old Harlequin female of excellent type. Very well developed for her age with good proportions. Head planes could be more paralell. Sound eyes. Moderately and harmoniously angulated both front and rear. Excellentl mover in all directions. Strong bone and good feet. Excellent coat, acceptable markings. A little shy today, but still young and will undoubtedly mature with time. 2nd . Mrs. L & A Chappell’s Semalda My Wild Flame A 7-month-old fawn female. Well up on her legs with good proportions Still nedds to develop in body. The head has good length and parallel planes, but could have a more defined stop. Elegant neck, moderately and harmoniously angulated both front and rear. Strong topline, good croup and tail set. Moves steadily but could have slightly better reach and drive. Excellent bone and feet. Pleasing temperament.  3rd Miss & Mr. G & A Evans & Lloyd-Jones – Kinnegans Sweet Home At Blodaugoch.

PB 4 entries – 0 absent  1st Mr. & Mrs. D &T Laycock’s Juno von Der Rhon  A well-proportioned female, well up on her legs. The head is somewhat strong with a rather pronounced stop. Dark eyes. Elegant neck, moderately and harmoniously angulated front and rear. Strong topline with a slightly sloping croup. Adequate bone and good feet. Moves well. Beautiful colour. Pleasing temperament. 2nd  Mrs. J Bielecka’s Alegriagiant Dare To Dream A black female with good proportions. Somewhat broad skull with slightly loose lower eyelids. Dark eyes. Would prefer better angulation in front; moderate rear angulation. Acceptable topline with a slightly sloping croup. Adequate bone and good feet. Moves quite well. Adequate bone and good feet. Excellent coat, colour, and temperament.  2nd Mr. & Mr. M & P Jacques & Kirby’s Jacqukir Love Me Again  A female well up on her legs. The head has good length but a slightly too much stop and somewhat heavy lips. Well-balanced angulation. Beautiful neck, topline, and croup. Excellent underline. Adequate bone and good feet. YB 5 entries – 3 absent  1st Ms. N. Pendleton- Watkins Goldania’s Princess Etain  A stylish female of good size. Lovely expression. Fantastic muscle condition. Good proportions. Long, parallel head with a beautiful expression. Dark eyes. Stands well on her legs. Excellent topline, croup, and tail. Adequate bone and good feet. Beautiful body lines. Moves well from the side, slightly close behind. Excellent coat and colour. 2nd Ms. M Cope’s Fonblanque Fiona  A Harlequin bitch with good proportions, could be cleaner in her white colour. A little strong in head and slightly too much lips. Dark eyes, would prefer slightly tighter eyelids. Moderately and harmoniously angulated front and rear. Excellent neck and topline. Good croup. Adequate bone and good feet. Moves steadily but would like slightly more reach and drive. Excellent temperament.

NB 7 entries – 2 absent  1st Miss & Mrs. T & L Pocock’s Lambrini A Girl like Me at Tamzadane  10-month-old, very well developed for her age. A very appealing young female. The head is long and narrow but could be slightly more parallel with a more defined stop. Sound eyes. Well-angulated and well-bodied. Slightly sloping croup. Adequate bone, would prefer slightly tighter feet. Moves well. A nicely marked mantel. Lovely temperament. Best Puppy Bit*h and Best Puppy In Show  2nd Mr & Mr. M & P Jacques & Kirby’s X Foot’s Siggys Snow Queen Elsa  A tall female with good proportions. Beautiful head with good parallel planes. Dark, beautiful eyes with a pleasing expression. Lovely neck, would prefer slightly better front angulation. Strong topline, slightly sloping croup. Adequate bone and good feet. Well developed and stands well on her legs. Excellent topline, slightly sloping croup. Would like a slightly better reach in front. Good bone and feet. Lovely temperament.  2nd Mr R. Evans Belarosedane Beany Babybel  A black female with good proportions. Parallel and feminine head, which could have slightly more length. Slightly forward-set front. Elegant neck, which could be a little longer. Would prefer a straighter topline. Slightly steep in croup, which affects her movement. Good bone and feet. Feminine, well-chiseled head with dark, sound eyes. Balanced angulated. Stands well on her legs. Excellent bone and feet. Excellent coat and markings. Would prefer slightly more reach and drive on the move. Lovely temperament.  2nd Mr & mr. M & P Jacques & Kirby’s Jacqukir Time For Change  Well up on her legs, very appealing bitch. Parallel head, slightly heavy lips. Lovely expression. Beautiful neck. Well-balanced angulation. Excellent topline, croup, and tail. Moves well but lacks a little enthusiasm. Good bone and feet. Lovely temperament. In this class, it was a close race between first and second place.  3rd Mr & Mrs. C & J Martin’s Keishant Venus

SVB 6 entries – 3 absent  1st Mr & Mrs N & J White’s Jutlander’s Are You Ready JW  An 8-year-old veteran female of very high quality. Shown in excellent condition. Feminine, parallel head with a lovely expression. Slightly forward-set front, otherwise well-angulated. Stands and moves excellently for her age. Strong topline. Lovely presence with a pleasing outline. She reminds me of a statue. Lovely temperament. Best veteran Bit*h and best veteran in show.  2nd Mrs. J Middleton’s Ch Taysca Must De Cartier at Dornoir JW  A 9 years and 4 months old female in excellent condition. Superb proportions. Feminine, parallel head with sound eyes. Slightly forward-set front. Slightly sloping croup. Moves with a little less energy. Beautiful colour and markings. Lovely temperament. Good coat, colour, and markings. A lovely overall picture.  2nd Miss & Mrs T & L Pocock’s Tamzadane Oooey Cake JW  A female of excellent type, but I would prefer better proportions; a little strong in head and slightly too much lips. Pleasant expression and sound eyes. Elegant neck and strong topline, slightly long in loin. Excellent bone, would prefer slightly tighter feet. Ground-covering movement. A little shy today. To day she was better standing than moving.

Feminine, parallel, well-chiseled head. Sound eyes. Beautiful set of neck. Well-defined forechest, slightly long in loin. Excellent croup and tail. Beautiful blue colour. Moves well. Lovely temperament.   2nd Mr & Mrs S & S Hayter’s Damarkann Secret Dare with Stevarah  A strong female, a bit heavy in type. Harmonious standing, would prefer her more parallel seen front and rear. Would like better femininity. Strong head, could be slightly more parallel. Slightly open eyes. Strong topline, slightly sloping croup. Strong bone, good feet. Excellent coat and colour. Lovely temperament.

She could be slightly more feminine in the head, but it is long and parallel. She has dark, sound eyes. It is a pleasure to go over such a well-constructed dog. Excellent bone, good feet.
