Part of the Northern Group of Great Dane Clubs, Midland & West GDC, Pennine GDC, The Northern GDC & Scottish GDC

Being held on Sunday 31st March 2024

At the Crawfordjohn Hall, Manse Road, Crawfordjohn, Biggar, ML12 6SR


Guest speakers Sheena Booth & Elaine Hyde

The day will consist of 1. Breed Talk, 2. Multiple-Choice Breed Standard Examination for the Great Dane and 3. Hands on Assessment.

Certificates will be awarded for Attendance of a Breed Appreciation Day and Multiple-Choice Examination (subject to a pass mark)

Lunch will be provided.

Hello to the Great Dane community.

The M&WEGDC would like to invite you to our “Party Tables” at the National Championship Dog Show being held on Friday 10th May.


All are invited to sample snacks, nibbles, refreshments and a few bottles of fizz to celebrate the start of another Dog Showing season, have a natter, put the Dog World to Rights and celebrate our Grand Breed.

We will be open from 9am, just when judging commences and close when we run out of food & drinks. Friday the 10th of May

It is not just The National Ch Show, it is also, did you know: International Day of Argania, National Shrimp Day, History of Mother Ocean Day, National Public Gardens Day, Stay Up All Night Day, One Day Without Shoes Day,

Food and drinks donations greatly received.
