It was a privilege to be asked to judge at your 70th anniversary dog show. And a special thank you to Chris and Jackie for their excellent stewarding. I would like to thank all the exhibitors for entering under me. The atmosphere was very relaxed, and all the dogs had good temperaments. Movement was hard to assess as the floor was slippery, some dogs found it more difficult than the others. A few dogs were weak on the Hocks, and many had splayed feet also, I found many lacked muscle tone which good road work would surely help. Slack eyes, short foreface’s, straight shoulders and weak top lines were also present. All were in good clean condition. I was pleased with all my winners.

What A cracking fawn puppy just 6 months old, everything to love about him fabulous head, dark eye, good chest and shoulder lay. Smashing width of bum, a roly poly baby with tail wagging and enjoying his first show. Pity he had to come up against my puppy dog for best puppy.

This fawn youngster stood out in this class, so mature for his age. Correct head, good ear carriage, dark eye, good length to foreface, correct front and shoulder lay. Topline good, correct turn of stifle, moved true, coming and going with ease. A lovely firstclass puppy. Reserved CC and best puppy in show.
2nd. DINAHTRON RAG TRADE. McGUINNESS MARIA & DAVID.
Fawn youngster not as mature in body as one, needs time to develop.
JUNIOR DOG.
1st. CALCHAS YANDAMAR YANKEE WALSH JOHN & MARY.
Well marked Harlequin dog in good condition, good reach of neck, correct front, well sprung ribs with good topline, moved soundly round the ring, a very happy lad.
2nd. SOCAR NOSEY PARKER AT DRAMALEX. HOLLAND Mrs.A & MARTIN.
Fawn boy dark mask, good clean neck, moved well and enjoying his day.

Fawn boy stood alone, dark mask, good length of foreface. Moved ok.

Powerful fawn boy. True dane expression, good length of foreface, well filled front, good depth of brisket, well sprung ribs, moved with drive around the ring.

A joy to see these oldies enjoying their day. All a bit grey round the faces, makes them true gentlemen, loved them all. So hard to choose, all deserved first place and could change places another day.

Tall fawn boy, good foreface and dark eye, lovely reach of neck. Not enjoying the floor today.
2nd. DAINMAJIK DANTE FOR SOUPURY. FLANAGAN Miss J.and Mrs J.
Mantle dog in good condition, gentle expression, well bodied, decided to gallop around the ring like a racehorse which is lovely to see.

Large frame blue dog, correct head, good foreface, well arched neck, well filled front, in good body condition. Needs to strengthen in hocks and pasterns. Road work might help his movement.

Light blue dog. Not the body of one. Moved ok.

Lovely chest, neck and shoulder lay. Moved well.

Very nice well marked harlequin dog. Well shaped head, correct drop of lip, good reach of neck, well filled front, good shoulder lay, good width to bum, correct turn of stifle, moved soundly round the ring. Nice boy.
2nd. TAMZDANE OH MY APPLE PIE JW. POCOCK Miss T.
Well marked harlequin boy, beautiful clean white neck, stockier than one, moved and handled well, another nice boy.

Second in limit. Well marked mantle dog. Good clean white and black. Well filled front, good topline, well muscled hind quarters, in lovely condition, moved soundly around the ring, just needs time to mature.

In good condition. Good depth of body, decided to race round the ring, tail wagging, a pleasure to see.
